Baguio Trip -1N2D

Again and again I've complimented Baguio on being oh-so photogenic. The bluest sky on a sunny day, the sun peaking through the leaves of the gorgeous moss green pine trees, the colorful flowers on its full bloom, the sweet and luscious strawberries, the happy faces of the Ilocanos and Igorots and other foreign/local tourists like me--there’s just something so gorgeous about this place. And yes, i love its smell. A very light but distinct smell--that's woody and sweet, pine and vanilla.

Baguio's my second home, well that’s how I coin it. Last February 17, my boyfriend and I , along with my nieces, bro and mum sets our foot to the City of Pines.  It was their (kids) first time to visit Baguio so made sure that my itinerary is ready and  ensure that we can visit lots of places for 1N2D. Yay!

We left Makati around 2am. The kids were ecstatic and super excited-- this is their first long trip ever. I told the kids to sleep while en route to Baguio so that they will have much energy the whole day. We took NLEX, SCTEX then TPLEX, which took us only 4+hrs. Well, the toll fee though is expensive.
